I don't like some silent movies either Liam but others are actually quite funny and make you laugh. That's because of the gestures and movements with their bodies that people make and facial expressions such as smiles, frowns, raised eyebrows etc.
Did you know that over 60% of the messages you get from people are non verbal - that means the messages you get from silent movies are mainly from the body language that you see - not what the person or people are saying.

I also really like the movie Wall-e, have you seen that one? I know the whole movie isn't silent but I think its pretty cool that a lot of it is.
