Today I got up early for the Dawn Parade and marched in it with the cubs.

Today we made damper on hobo stoves and ate them, (mine was gooey like a soggy piece of bread, but cooked well on the outside).
My dad got invested, so he is a cub leader now. That means he helps out gets things sorted for our activities.
We roasted marshmallows on a campfire by the beach in the dark. The Marshmallows were soft and gooey on the inside but crispy on the outside.
I was awarded cub of the day for being good role model to the other cubs.
As cub of the day we get to take care of a baby wolf cub for the week. Its a stuffed soft toy.

No cubs tonight as we are going on a walk on Saturday.

We went on a walk along the bike track. We met at the club rooms then drove to the Taramakau River and we walked back to the club rooms. It took us 3 hours then we had a milo and stuff to eat when we got back.

Tonight we are suppose to do a night walk but because it starts at 6pm I can’t go as I have rugby training.

The night walk last week was cancelled because it was raining. We met at the old swimming pool then walked the Kowhai Bush Walk then we went along the floodwall behind the nursery then we walked all the way back to Dixon Park.

We went to the History House tonight. We looked at all the stuff that was around there and the tour guide took us on a tour. We then went to Steamers to have a lamb or pork sandwich.
